PocketBook Verse Pro
Customization
Fonts, screensavers, gestures and other tweaks.
PocketBook’s software is unusually configurable. Everything in this section is a normal setting or a file you copy on — there is no developer menu to unlock and no jailbreak.
What you can change
- Fonts. Add your own TrueType or OpenType fonts by copying them to a “fonts” folder or through the reading menu.
- The buttons. Assign a short press and a long press of each page-turn button to actions you choose — next page, bookmark, dictionary, screen refresh and more.
- The sleep and power-off screens. Point the device at your own images in Settings, with no hidden menu.
- Reading layout. Fonts, spacing, margins, hyphenation and PDF reflow, all in the reading menu.
- The status bar and gestures. Choose what the top and bottom bars show and what edge swipes do.
