PocketBook InkPad Color 3
Customization
Fonts, screensavers, gestures and other tweaks.
PocketBook’s software is unusually configurable. Everything in this section is a normal setting or a file you copy on — there is no developer menu to unlock and no jailbreak.
What you can change
- Fonts. Add your own TrueType or OpenType fonts by copying them to a “fonts” folder or through the reading menu.
- The bottom buttons. Assign a short press and a long press of each page-turn button to actions you choose — including a colour / black-and-white toggle and a manual screen refresh.
- The sleep and power-off screens. Point the device at your own images in Settings — colour images work on the sleep screen.
- Reading layout and colour. Fonts, spacing, margins, PDF crop, and the saturation and contrast controls for colour content.
- Rotation and the status bar. Lock the orientation, and choose what the bars show and what edge swipes do.
