Get books onto the PocketBook Verse Pro
Copy books to the Verse Pro by USB in almost any format, send them by email with Send-to-PocketBook, or sync from a cloud folder. No conversion needed.
The Verse Pro’s format range means “getting books on” is usually just copying a file. Use the USB method for a batch, Send-to-PocketBook for the odd book from your phone, and cloud sync if you want a folder on your computer to mirror the device. Conversion, the awkward part on other readers, rarely comes up here.

Understand what makes the Verse Pro different
Unlike a Kobo or Kindle, the Verse Pro opens most formats directly — EPUB, PDF, FB2, DjVu, DOCX, RTF, TXT, HTML, CBZ, CBR, MOBI and others. You almost never need to convert a file first. That makes copying books on the simplest method.

Method A — copy by USB cable
Connect the Verse Pro to a computer with the USB-C cable and choose the connection prompt. It appears as a drive. Drag your book files into any folder, or into the "Books" folder to keep things tidy. Eject the drive safely and unplug; the device indexes the new files and shows them in the Library.

Method B — Send-to-PocketBook by email
With a PocketBook account, the device has its own address such as "yourname@pbsync.com" (find it under Settings, then Accounts and Synchronization, then Send-to-PocketBook). Email your book files as attachments to that address. On the Verse Pro, open the "Send-to-PocketBook" folder and sync; the files download over Wi-Fi.

Method C — sync a cloud folder
Under Settings, then Accounts and Synchronization, you can link Dropbox or Google Drive, or use the PocketBook Cloud. Put books in the linked folder from any computer, then sync on the device to pull them down. The PocketBook Cloud also keeps your reading position in step with the PocketBook phone app.

Open a book and check the layout
For EPUB and similar reflowable formats, the reading menu (tap the top centre) has font, spacing and margin controls. For PDFs, look for the "Reflow" or "Mode" option in that menu, which re-flows the text to fit the 6-inch screen — fixed PDF pages are hard to read at this size otherwise.
