The Clara BW is a plain reader and needs very little. A case is the one purchase most people should make; it protects a device that is small enough to disappear into a bag, and a folio with a sleep magnet saves battery. If you listen to Kobo audiobooks, a set of Bluetooth earbuds is the other thing worth having, since the Clara BW has no speaker or headphone socket.
