BOOX Palma 2
Calibre
Managing your library and sending books with Calibre.
Calibre is the free desktop program most people use to keep an ebook library in order. Getting books from Calibre to the Palma 2 works a few ways, because it is an Android device rather than a dedicated reader Calibre has a driver for.
What to know
- Send EPUB — no conversion. Every reading app on it opens EPUB directly. There is no Kobo KEPUB or Kindle AZW3 step.
- USB uses Android file transfer. The Palma 2 appears as an Android device (MTP), not a plain drive. Many people just drag files into the “Books” folder in the file-transfer window.
- Wireless is often easier. Calibre’s built-in “content server” lets the Palma 2 browse and download your whole library over Wi-Fi — handy for a device you rarely tether.
- microSD works too. Copy books to a card on a computer, put it back, and every reading app can see them.
